Shutdown of small hosting firm drastically reduces spam

Just a quick post, but something you might find of interest. It seems one small hosting firm called McColo Corp. has been responsible for a huge quantity of the world’s spam. After the e-plug was pulled by McColo’s Internet providers, worldwide spam levels fell by roughly 66 percent according to email security firm IronPort. Other spam watchdogs report similar findings.
