We thank you for your continued business and loyalty. We are very happy you have decided to stay with us and maintain your EasyStreet.net email. We understand this transition has created challenges for some clients and has resulted in a number of questions about billing and possible credits. This page aims to answer such questions.
We would like to first explain that the arrangement we had with Google was retired and no other plans were offered that allowed us to offer the same service at the same price. We worked with Microsoft and decided to migrate accounts to Office 365 which provides the level of service and quality we want to extend to you our clients. The contractual terms with Microsoft are different and are requiring us to modify the terms and conditions associated with individual email accounts, multiple email accounts, and bundled internet access and email accounts.
This is the first time in nine years that the terms have changed and that any pricing has been impacted. We hope you recognize that this is relatively unheard of in the fast moving technology world. We want to make this as easy as possible and reduce any potential headaches. Since many clients have prepaid contracts with various term durations, we want to make pricing changes at the end of the current term. The pricing structure under the Microsoft agreement requires us the retire packages previously offered and modify billing for our clients as follows.
It depends on the type of account you have and your next billing date. In an attempt to streamline the migration, and make it as easy as possible, we want to keep billing consistent with the way it has been prior to the migration. Please note that we are no longer offering multiple mailbox service packages. Neither Google nor Office 365 offer multiple mailboxes for the price of one anymore.
The migration completed on July 20, 2015. Once changes are reflected on your billing statement, if you have questions please contact us here:
No. Your current term duration will be honored and we will let each service period finish as scheduled.
In an effort to reduce any confusion and disruption, we will not extend credits or pro-rate existing accounts. Your billing will stay the same through the duration of your prepaid term with the exception of accounts with multiple email accounts as explained above.
